Wanna walk to Raleigh’s Glenwood area? You need to see this!

Imagine living in a place where you could walk to bars, restaurants and shops? You can! 720 Bishops Park Drive #305 is for sale! It’s a 3 bedroom condo with all the works and a community pool. Let’s start with the living area!

This Family Room is open to the Kitchen, and separate dining room and has an enclosed porch off to the side which can be used for office, storage or extra sitting area. It also features built-in shelving and a fireplace with a marble tile surround, which also matches the marble flooring in the kitchen and foyer.

The Kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. And you can see into the Dining Room and living area. Great for entertaining!

The Master Bedroom has high ceilings and is quite large. It has a door that also goes to enclosed porch, so you could close that off to the Living Room if you needed some sort of “wing” off the bedroom. There is a walk-in closet as you enter the attached bathroom.

The bathroom has granite countertops also!
The guest bathroom is connected to a Laundry Room and has mosaic tiles in the shower. The owner has really taken pains to make this place one of the nicest you’ll find. There are even new windows to make this unit more energy efficient!

The neighborhood is beautiful! Enjoy the community pool or walk to Fletcher Park. You are centrally located between Cameron Village, Glenwood South and Five Points. Easy access to the Beltline, too! You don’t want to miss this one! Call me to see it today!

St. Paddy’s Day

20120317-093309.jpg

Looking for something fun to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? The parade starts in downtown Raleigh at 11 am. The streets will be closed off most of the day. You can enjoy music, food and drinks near Moore Square and at the Irish pub Tir Na Nog. There are pub crawls planned in other parts of the city, too. Other Irish pubs in the area include Napper Tandy’s and Hibernian. Both are in the Glenwood south area. Enjoy and may the luck o’ the Irish be with you!

Downtown Raleigh Living

This is an interesting article written by my former NBC 17 colleague Jen Wig for the Raleigh Public Record.   She talks about changes to downtown Raleigh neighborhoods and how people who live there and are moving there feel about that.  It features my clients who renovated the home on Camden Street using a 203 k loan.  Enjoy!

Update on Downtown Raleigh Renovation

My Clients are still hard at work on the downtown Raleigh property, purchased with a 203(k) rehab loan. It now has a fresh coat of paint and rooms are starting to form. They are working with their contractor and the Historical Committee, as this is a historical property, but things are really coming together! In this video you can see the progress that’s underway on 112 Camden St.
